Different types of Ceylon Tea

There are three main types of Ceylon tea; Black Tea, Green Tea, and White Tea.

Ceylon Black tea is the most popular type of among these teas. It is produced by fully fermenting the tea leaves. It has a strong, full-bodied flavor and is often used as a base for flavored teas and blends.

Ceylon Green tea is made from unfermented tea leaves. It has a more delicate flavor than black tea. It is known for its natural sweetness and is believed to have a number of health benefits.

Ceylon White tea is the rarest and most expensive variety of Ceylon tea. It is made from the young, tender leaves and buds of the tea plant and is the least processed compared to other types of Ceylontea. It has a delicate, subtle flavor and is considered to be the highest quality type of Ceylon tea.

In addition to these three main types of Ceylon tea, Ceylon tea is also produced in a number of Specialty teas, Artisan teas and flavor blends such as Earl Grey, English Breakfast, and Darjeeling.
